Service and Repairs
All in house repairs are eligible for a free estimate of repair on return to SRS at your cost. This can be in the form of a Pro-Forma invoice if requested. In the event that you do not wish to go ahead with the repair, only return carriage will be charge unless instructed in writing to dispose of the item. Items will be returned upon full payment unless otherwise stated.
On-site service is available for larger products. Call out charges for on-site repairs are to be paid up front by one of the forms listed below in Payments.
Further charges for extra time and parts used will be charged upon completion of works carried out.
VAT is charged on all sales @ 20% (VAT No. GB 878 1294 82).We accept payment by Visa, Visa Delta, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro.
We do not accept Electron Card. Card payments can be made on-line or on our sales line 01582 536 346.
We also accept payments by cheque and BACS. Cheques and crossed postal orders are subject to clearance of 5 working days and should be made payable to “SRS”.
Purchase orders are only accepted from Schools, Local Authorities, Police Authorities, NHS and Government Departments where prior agreement has been made. Purchase orders are due for payment strictly with 30 days of invoice. Late payments will be charge at 3% for the first 2 months and then 5% for any consecutive month.
Only a minimum order charge of £5.00 can be accepted.
Orders & Delivery
When we receive an order every effort will be made to ensure the goods are delivered within times stated. In stock items ordered before 2pm will normally be dispatched the next working day (upon cleared funds). Any out of stock item will be advised and an approx delivery time stated.
Deliveries will be made by various carriers and may require a signature. Some items will be sent direct from the supplier.
Delivery is to the UK mainland only unless prior agreement is made.
Shortages and damaged goods must be reported within 7 days of date of receipt. Items sent incorrectly of our fault will be collected at our cost.
SRS accept no responsibility to personnel injury or damage to property for spare parts that are purchased and not fitted by SRS personnel. On-site and in house repairs carried out by SRS personnel have a 30 day labour and parts warranty on any actual work carried out (excluding any type of blade). Any products replaced under warranty do not include a further warranty period.
New products sold by SRS and still under the manufacturer warranty are covered under their terms as stated on their or our site (copies available on request) but should be reported to us in the first instance by phoning our customer services on 01908 821182.
At SRS we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why under our 7-day returns guarantee, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item. For your protection when returning your item we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than £50.00. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If any item was ordered in error or returned as faulty and no fault was found a refund will be given (at the discretion of SRS) less a handling and restocking charge of 15% of the product cost and excluding any postage cost.
Consumers are given additional protect under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can cancel your order up to seven days after the date you received the item if you wish to cancel you must contact us by email email@example.com . The item is to be returned in its original condition, a full refund will be given. If you feel that you have cause to complain about anything to do with SRS, or the goods or service that you receive, Please contact us by any of the following methods:

Any complaints will be responded to within 24 hours of there receipt, When you will be notified of the course of action that we will take to remedy the situation, If the problem cannot be sorted out immediately, we will keep you informed of the progress on a regular basis. Any complaints will be kept strictly confidential and reviewed periodically to see if any areas of the business can be improved and any failures cannot reoccur.
All shipping dates provided are approximate and are based upon prompt receipt of all necessary information from the Purchaser.
SRS shall not be liable for any loss or damage unless it is as a result of our negligence.
